I've always loved the idea of collaborating with other artists. I'm very lucky to have talented friends such as musicians, actors, writers, comedians, and many more.
Tareq Abu Ghazaleh is an old friend of mine who has an amazing ability to sing and play the guitar which has led him to compose some truly compelling music.
We have yet to collaborate together on a music video, but I hope that this will be coming very soon on our horizons.
It was decided that the best place to shoot would be at his grandparents' large estate in northern Amman, in a small area called Mahis during golden hour.
We were of course late to our own shoot. The location was absolutely stunning, overlooking the Dead Sea and Palestine in the far distance.
The orange glow of the setting sun was saturated, and the high dynamic range of the 5D Mark III was more than enough to produce fantastic images in low light during the late summer afternoon.
I had told Tareq to walk around to his favorite spots and sing his favorite songs like no one was watching.
The Canon 5D Mark III and a 24-105mm f/4 lens was enough to capture these beautiful moments. The impromptu shoot worked well due to the lack of gear. Tareq was maneuvering the entire location and I wanted to make sure I did not get in his way while shooting. It was good to not to be tied down to certain areas around the location.
