THE PROJECT
Working in the film industry, there is a lot of fun to be had making an action movie. First time director CJ Philips brought on board cinematographer and good friend of mine Gigi Aquilina. Gigi then recommend that they bring on experienced Assistant Director Ali Mango, considering the scope of the project. The project was to have stunts involving cars, firearms, and children. Ali Mango is a director and also an assistant director with a great deal of experience on a wide variety of challenging productions as an assistant director whether it be for script content or cinematographic technical set pieces that require many people to work together cohesively.
Ali Mango and Gigi previously worked together on many occasions, both having a fond admiration for one another's talent, professionalism, and hard working demeanor. They are both Columbia College graduates who have worked on countless student sets, as well as partnered up on numerous occasions for professional productions.
